BSF Commander RADM Alexander Fedotenkov introduced him to division commanders and the fleet's top-ranking officers.
Prior to appointment, Nosatov held the office of Baltic Fleet (BF) Baltiysk Naval Base Commander.
Curriculum vitae
Alexander M. Nosatov was born on March 27, 1963 in Sevastopol.
In 1985, he graduated from the Nakhimov Black Sea Naval College.
Nosatov started his officer career at Pacific Fleet as antiaircraft battery commander on destroyer Stoiky; then he passed positions of air defense officer on destroyer Bezboyaznenny, master of missile weapons at missile ship division, executive officer on Guard missile cruiser Varyag, and commanding officer of destroyer Bystry.
In 2000, he graduated from the Kuznetsov Naval Academy.
In 2009, after graduation from Russian General Staff Military Academy, Nosatov was appointed BF Baltiysk Naval Base Commander.
By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated Jan 27, 2012, Rear Admiral A. Nosatov was posted BSF Deputy Commander.
