Servicemen of Black Sea Fleet (BSF) are preparing for military parade to take place in Sevastopol on May 9. Joint marching drills with Ukrainian naval mariners will start late in April. Totally, 1 303 servicemen of the two navies will participate in the parade.

This information was told by a BSF spokesman during the Victory Day preparatory briefing at Sevastopol city administration.

The city mayor Vladimir Yatsuba said he had already ordered to block traffic in downtown Sevastopol since 6 pm on May 3 and 7. The parade rehearsals will be held on that days; reserve day for rehearsal is May 8.

The parade will be run by General Major Alexander Ostrikov (Black Sea Fleet, Russia) and Vice Admiral Sergei Yeliseyev (Ukrainian Navy).
