Specialists of Tranzas company installed Mostik 2000 navigation simulator at Black Sea Fleet (BSF) training center. The simulator will help to train military navigators more effectively.

According to Tranzas press service, it is an all-in configuration; the simulator comprises one commanding bridge with projection display systems and three small bridges of tactical escort ships. The simulator's library contains basic projects of surface ships operated by Russian Navy.

Simulator Mostik 2000 produced by Tranzas is designed for training of officers of main battle stations and combat information centers in navigation, interaction between shipboard battle stations, and navigational security.

"Mostik 2000 is the only in its kind batch-produced simulator for surface ships in Russian Navy, providing up-to-date training process", said Vladimir Barkov, chief designer of simulator systems in JSC Tranzas. "The system has passed all appropriate trials, was put in service in 2004 and has been delivered to Russian Navy throughout recent 8 years", he added.

As of today, all Russian naval educational institutions are equipped with the Mostik 2000 simulators, as well as training centers of Northern and Black Sea fleets. Totally, 10 such simulators have been installed since 2004; in 2012 another system will be delivered to Northern Fleet training center, reports press service of Tranzas.
