Rogozin: All Defense Order Problems Won't Be Settled In Time
13.04.2012
Defense ministry and arms producers would unlikely manage to agree upon prices under State Defense Order 2012 in time, said Russian vice premier Dmitry Rogozin who is responsible for defense industry.
"I can't tell that 100 % of orders would be placed by Apr 15. We have some disputable issues on price formula, primarily regarding armaments which production needs long term, like five or seven years", Rogozin told reporters after the briefing on development of Russian space centers, reports RIA Novosti. Rogozin said he would report to the government on the defense order implementation on Apr 15.
Early in March, Rogozin maintained that most contracts for 2012 would be signed by defense ministry and military-producing companies just by Apr 15.
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin reminded about that on Apr 11 appearing at parliamentary session.
