Interbranch Anti-Terror Exercise Held in Novorossiysk Naval Base 13.04.2012

An interbranch counter-terror exercise was held in Novorossiysk on the basis of harbor defense brigade. Among other participants were Novorossiysk Naval Base anti-terror unit and airborne troopers.

Servicemen practiced monitoring over water area and adjacent quayside, defense of coastal infrastructure, detection and neutralizing of combat divers by special equipment, and deactivation of magnetic mines planted by "terrorists".

In total, about 100 servicemen and 10 combat vehicles and fast-speed floating craft took part in the exercise.
