JSC Tactical Missiles Corporation completes development of ten types of guided high-precision aircraft and naval weapons in 2012, reports Interfax citing the company's director general Boris Obnosov.

"We're completing different types of our products this year, and we should be prepared for their batch production. It is an extremely difficult task", Obnosov said.

According to him, ten new-generation air- and sea-based missiles are at final stage of development, "most of them complete trials and prepare for batch production".

As a result, it is planned to radically renew the lineup of air-to-air and air-to-surface weapons, as well as considerably modernize antiship systems. "The schedule is tight, but we must be on time", said the director general.

Speaking of problems, he noted that "there's a certain inconsistency between technical modernization programs of different corporations". "We should change this situation when everyone tries to build own farmhouse", Obnosov said.

"We could also say that we need to construct new factories to maintain batch production. But apparently, the country has no spare money for that. On the other hand, we read interviews of different industrialists complaining of deficient use of productive capacities. Sometimes this parameter reaches 50 per cent. So what's wrong with workloading of available factories instead of building new ones? That would be better, I think", said Obnosov.

As for him, it is time to make cooperation between different holdings the cornerstone; internal relations amid capable integrated structures have been already adjusted. "It's a challenging task, but to me, it is the only way to use government funds quite effectively", he added.
