Night rehearsals of the Victory Day Parade will take place on the Red Square in Moscow on Apr 26, 30, and May 3 at 10 pm, and final dress rehearsal – on May 6 at 10 am.

Road traffic in Moscow will be limited on the days of rehearsals in order to let military vehicles move free. Those limitations will be imposed by traffic police and announced beforehand.

Over 14,000 military servicemen will take part in the Victory Day Parade in Moscow on May 9. Officers, NCOs, soldiers and cadets will constitute 7 regiments of Russian Armed Forces and special-purpose troops, 5 battalions of other security ministries, and 5 independent parade teams.

Unmounted personnel will be followed by mechanized column comprising about 100 pieces of weapon systems. Among them are armored cars Tiger, armored personnel carriers BTR-80, tanks T-90A, self-propelled howitzers Msta-S, SAM systems Buk-M2, missile/gun air defense systems Pantsir-S1, launchers of S-400 SAM system, launchers of Iskander-M and Topol-M ICBM systems.

The parade will be closed by helicopters of Torzhok Army Aviation Training Center. They will fly over the Red Square carrying flags of the Russian Federation, the Russian Armed Forces, Russian Army, Russian Air Force, and Russian Navy. The 1,100-men military band will provide musical assistance.

All participants will wear ceremonial dress except for drivers of the mechanized column dressed in field uniform.
