United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) plans to hand over two nuclear-powered submarines to Russian Navy in 2012, confirmed the company's director Roman Trotsenko on June 22.

"One of upcoming events is handing over of a Borei-class nuclear submarine to Russian Navy. We're expecting it in July", he told reporters at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

In addition, the Navy will receive nuclear-powered cruise missile submarine SSGN Severodvinsk. "This year we're completing handover process of the new attack submarine Severodvinsk. It is Yasen class", pointed out the head of USC.
