Special operations team of Kamchatka harbor defense division held counter-sabotage drill and practiced combat firing by DP-62 Damba self-propelled coast-based rocket systems.

The firing was carried out by single launches at the range of 1.5-6 km. In total, 80 rockets were launched in the drill.

122-mm counter-sabotage self-propelled coast-based rocket system DP-62 Damba is designed for destruction of enemy's underwater sabotage forces like midget submarines and divers in order to protect entrances to basing sites and defend key zones of state sea borders.

According to the firing drill director Capt 2 Rank Mikhail Shinkevich, all crews have completed the task in full, targets were destroyed, and objectives were met.
