At special works and drills, divers of Caspian Flotilla (CF) Rescue Service are using and testing new diving outfits SVU-5 recently put into operation.

The new outwits were received to replace obsolete models and are designed for life support of divers during underwater engineering, emergency rescue, and other works at depths down to 60 meters and water temperature from -2 to +35 degrees Celsius.

When underwater examination of ships, a diver may use video camera fixed on his helmet and transmit image to display of Osmotr system based onboard harbor diving boat RVK-2072.

Fielding of this equipment will allow divers of CF Rescue Service to execute their functions more effectively both at combat training and in real operations.
