Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief VADM Viktor Chirkov in Aug 5-8 carried out working trip to Ural region and visited cities of Yekaterinburg, Snezhinsk, and Chelyabinsk.

Viktor Chirkov visited the Makeyev State Rocket Center (Chelyabinsk), the Semikhvatov Automatics Scientific & Production Association (Yekaterinburg), the Novator Experimental Design Bureau, and the Russian Federal Nuclear Center – Zababakhin Scientific & Research Institute of Applied Physics (Snezhinsk).

The navy commander familiarized with scientific and production facilities of the companies, and discussed prospects for cooperation in the interests of Russian Navy.
