Delegation of young Norwegian officers on Sept 18 will arrive in Russia's Northern Fleet (NF) main base Severomorsk. The visit will be held under the bilateral military cooperation program.

Norwegian Military Delegation to Visit Northern Fleet

As is planned, Norwegian guests will visit NF Marine Regiment and watch demonstration drill of the elite military unit.
In Severomorsk, Norwegians will visit warships, familiarize with living and service conditions of Russian naval mariners, and practice navigation on the Mostik simulator system in NF training center.
The visit program includes attending of the NF Air Force Museum and the K-21 museum submarine, as well as sightseeing tours around Murmansk.
NF mariners and their Norwegian counterparts are tied by longstanding partnership helping to implement numerous joint activities. The largest one is the Pomor Russo-Norwegian naval exercise regularly held in the Barents, the Norwegian, and the North seas.
