Frigate INS Trikand Starts Dockside Trials 19.09.2012

Frigate INS Trikand, the last out of three Project 11356 ships built by Yantar shipyard for Indian Navy started dockside trials on Sept 15. The trials take place in the shipyard and will last till mid-Jan 2013.

During that period, all shipboard systems must be aligned and tested.

When the dockside trials are over, INS Trikand will kick off sea trials in the Baltic Sea. The ship's handover to Indian Navy is scheduled in the summer 2013.
