Having effectively completed another deployment, nuclear-powered submarine K-433 Svyatoi Georgy Pobedonosets will arrive in homebase Vilyuchinsk on Nov 9 at 11 am, a source in Russian defense ministry told Central Navy Portal.

Despite her age (commissioned in 1980), the Project 667BDR Calmar nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine Svyatoi Georgy Pobedonosets is still in service at Pacific Fleet.

In Oct 2012, crew of the sub successfully carried out test launch of ballistic missile R-29R from the Sea of Okhotsk.

In Sept 2011, fishing seiner Donets tangentially collided with the submarine stationed in the Avacha Bay. The sub was not seriously damaged.
