Batch production of corvettes for Russian defense ministry will be continued at the Severnaya Verf shipyard, said the company's director Alexander Ushakov in the interview at the yard's centennial ceremony.

"Works on corvette Stoiky, the last ship in the first series, are going on in accordance with schedule, we plan to complete the ship by the end of the next year", Ushakov said. Corvette Boiky has already passed first phase of state acceptance trials. The shipyard was tasked to sign acceptance certificate and deliver the corvette to the Navy in the current year.

"Our shipyard has export prospects as well. Currently, we're actively promoting export variant of Project 20382 Tiger corvette. Algerian experts are negotiating with Rosoboronexport on a contract with the view to built such ships for them", said director of Severnaya Verf.
