Russia’s St. Pete to host Powerboat F1 race

An official agreement was signed on January 30th between the Federation of Water Motor Sport for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region and the PPT holding for the organization of a Powerboat F1 race on the 5-6 June this year in Russia’s northern capital.

The agreement was certified by the signatures of the president of the Federation, Yunis Lukmanov, and the general director of the holding, Oleg Barabanov.

The race will attract experienced speedboat pilots from all over the world.

A similar race, dubbed Formula of the Future and pitting children pilots, will take place before the main event, a fist in the history of such races.
