Rescuers found belongings of a man lost on the sunken ship

On Thursday at the lakeshore the rescuers of EMERCOM have found belongings of a man lost in Lake Pyasino where the vessel Silny wrecked on Sept 20. There were 12 men aboard, the status of seven is uncertain, said press-service representative of EMERCOM Krasnoyarskiy Krai branch to RIA Novosti.

"Today at the lakeshore the rescuers have found a jacket, glasses and a cell phone of one of the men disappeared. It was ascertained that the cell phone belongs to a man 1961 year of birth. We do not have any other information about him now ", said the agency's interlocutor.

According to EMERCOM, all the things found belong to one man.

The vessel Silny of Yaroslavets-type was submerged on Sept 20, in Lake Pyasino 80 km far from Norilsk 10 km off lakeshore, when it was heading for Cape of Urvantsev to transport a barge. There were two crewmembers and ten passengers. Five men survived, the status of seven, including captain, is uncertain.

Criminal case based on the fact of the shipwreck was initiated by West Siberian investigative committee under part 3 article 263 (violation of sea transport traffic safety rules) of the RF Criminal Code, which provides deprivation of freedom for a term up to seven years.

Lake Pyasino is situated southwest North Siberian Plain in Taimyr Autonomous District. The lake has glacial origin, 1050 sq km, its length is 70 km, extreme width is 15 km, depth is 6-10 m. The depth of the accident site is uncertain.
