Russian government appropriated 4 bln rub to Sevmash – Putin

05.10.2009
Russian government appropriated 4 bln rub to authorised capital of Sevmashpredpriyatie. As Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said during Government presidium session, he had signed corresponding governmental order.

Viktor Khristenko, Minister of Industry and Commerce added that next week supervisory council of Vneshtorgbank would officially prolong 6-bln-rub credit previously given to Sevmashpredpriyatie on the term of 5 years.

According to the minister, appropriation of 4 bln rub to authorised capital of Sevmashpredpriyatie is essential for realization of comprehensive program on financial recovery and improving stability of the company. He reminded that in 2009 the package of measures was approved related to providing Sevmash with defense and civil orders, enabling its credit activities and sponsoring some of activity types.

Generally, assumed measures will help to increase shipyard's production output on 30 % in 2009 – up to 9 bln rub, said V. Khristenko. Defense orders occupy 75 % of the company's load, civil orders – 25 %, added the minister.
