Field exercise at BSF AD regiment

Field exercise at BSF AD regiment 03.02.2010
Black Sea Fleet's air defense regiment carried out a scheduled field exercise.

The purpose of drill is improvement of individual professional skills of naval antiaircrafters and cohesiveness of the regiment's units. One of the AA batteries, command post and other units took part in the exercise.

During the drill BSF mariners deployed AA battery, accomplished tasks of combat alert, trained in search, detection and nominal hitting of mock aerial targets.

Personnel of the command post practiced in radar deployment and retraction, accomplished tasks of combat alert and trained target interaction with AA batteries.

As part of the drill, a shooting practice was arranged for young seamen at the firing range.
