Fire on MV Alushta, sufferers

Fire on motorship Alushta occurred in Arkhangelsk and caused four sufferers has been extinguished, reports RIA Novosti citing Igor Grigoriev, head of EMERCOM press service, Arkhangelsk branch.

The ship belonging to Northern Shipping Company was under general overhaul at Krasnaya Kuznitsa shipyard. By present time 50% of repairs were completed. The fire occurred at 10.45 am was classified as third grade of complexity which is the highest one.

Four shipwrights of Krasnaya Kuznitsa suffered in the fire. With ambustion of upper respiratory tracts and combustion intoxication, three of them were sent to regional hospital, one – to Arkhangelsk city hospital. Status of all patients is normal.
