Sakhalin frontiersmen released into natural habitat about 10 tons of live crabs found at Cambodian fishing schooner Volcano arrested on Feb 14, reports Wednesday RIA Novosti citing Irina Shebeko, press secretary of Sakhalin branch of FSB Coast Guard.

"Total amount of released crab is over 9.5 tons (6,104 opilio crabs, 940 king crabs, 196 blue crabs, 562 horsehair crabs, and 168 spiny crabs)", said Mrs. Shebeko.

According to her, amount of prevented damage made about 5 mln rub.

Totally, in 2010 over 157 tons of confiscated crabs were released into natural habitat; amount of prevented damage made over 119 mln rub.
