Deck-based fighters MiG-29K will be delivered for Russian Navy, said in press conference Mikhail Pogosian, vice president of United Aircraft Engineering Corporation (UAEC), Director General of RSK MiG.

"Minister of Defense issued a decree permitting delivery of those aircrafts to Russian Navy", underlined Mr. Pogosian.

In particular, MiG-29K fighters will be based on aircraft carrying cruiser Admiral Kuznetsov alongside with Su-33 aircrafts, said the official.

"MiG-29K program will promote aviation development not only in India but in Russia as well", Pogosian underlined.
