Yury Kravtsov, director of Sevastopol Commercial Seaport is about to negotiate with Russian party and persuade to give a part of Black Sea Fleet's Minnaya Quay to the port, reports RIA Novosti referring to a source in the port administration.

Minnaya Quay borders with civil harbor station which was defined as "miserable" by Mr. Kravtsov on the air of Sevastopol regional TV channel. According to the source, a passenger cruise liner needs about 300 meters of quayside for mooring while the length of harbor station is only 200 meters, so it was decided to grab a part of Minnaya Quay from Black Sea Fleet. Russian warships can be moored at other quays. The official proposal to Russian party has been already prepared, pointed out the source.

Meanwhile, InfraNews considers the harbor station as Sevastopol's the most inconvenient mooring place for disembarkation of thousands of tourists. A separate passenger terminal should be built for this purpose, but not re-equipment of 100 meters of Minnaya Quay, reports InfraNews.

Large landing ships and frigates of BSF Surface Ships Force has been moored at Minnaya Quay for over 50 years.
