Pacific Fleet (PF) task unit consisting of large ASW ship Admiral Vinogradov, sea-going tug SB-522, and tanker Pechenga under command of Capt 2 rank Ivan Kovalev left Da Nang port on May 11 and set a course for Vladivostok.

The ships are expected to arrive in Vladivostok on May 21, said a spokesman for Pacific Fleet to Central Navy Portal.

PF ships moored in Da Nang port on May 7. Russian Navy's official delegation and Vietnamese mariners took part in celebration of the Victory Day. Monument to Soviet sailors died in Vietnam was triumphantly handed over to the Russian party on May 9.

Recall that the fifth PF task unit had completed anti-piracy watch in the Gulf of Aden. Throughout four months of anti-piracy patrol, Russian ships had escorted 14 commercial convoys.
