Admiral Tributs to pay business call in Seychelles
02.10.2009 Large antisubmarine ship Admiral Tributs during patrolling mission in the Gulf of Aden will make business-like call at port of Victoria, Republic of Seychelles.
In October, 2 Admiral Tributs accompanied by tanker Boris Butoma and rescue tug MB-99 are to call at port of Victoria, capital city of Republic of Seychelles.
In the course of 15-day Seychelles visit the command of unit plans to pay visits to Russian ambassador in Victoria, city authorities and command of Republic's Armed Forces.
Sport events with foreign colleagues and sightseeing tours are planned for crews. Besides, representatives of Russian diaspora and the diplomatic corps are to visit ships.
The business call of Pacific Fleet ships to Victoria will last till October, 6.
We recall that subsequent unit of Pacific Fleet ships left Vladivostok on June, 29 comprising large antisubmarine ship Admiral Tributs, tanker Boris Butoma and rescue tug MB-99. The ships carry Pacific Fleet Marine units and two helicopters Ka-27 which are responsible for aerial surveillance and search of pirates. During patrolling this region of Indian Ocean, Pacific Fleet mariners have escorted about 70 vessels from all over the world, participated in Russian-Chinese antipiracy joint exercise.
