Black Sea Fleet (BSF) flagship Guard missile cruiser Moskva finished formal visit to Philippines' capital Manila and headed for Vladivostok, reported Monday RIA Novosti citing BSF Information Support Group.

"During a 2-day visit the ship's commanding officers paid protocol visits to Philippine Navy HQ, municipal and police authorities of Manila. The cruiser replenished water, food, and fuel supplies preparing for a long-term cruise. The sailors went on sightseeing bus tours and visited Manila's shopping centers. Besides, Russian and Filipino servicemen played soccer and volleyball friendly games", said the interviewee.

According to him, Russian warship was also visited by Capt. Allan F. Cusi, director of the Operation Center of the Philippine Navy and about hundred sailors. Filipino counterparts were told about the ship's history, armament, and shown the cruiser's museum and shipborne church.

In the end of the visit, the cruise CO held a reception on board Moskva; among attendants were representatives of city authorities, Filipino mariners, and Russian diplomats. In memory of 65th anniversary of the Great Victory all guests were given St. George's ribbons brought to the ship by RIA Novosti reporters.

Cruiser Moskva sailed off the port of Manila to the accompaniment of Philippine Navy's orchestra played national marches. BSF flagship proceeded with task performance in Pacific Ocean.
