MV Dover Arrived In Oman After Half-Year Captivity

Greek bulker MV Dover spent 7 months in captivity of Somali pirates and released for ransom on Sept 30 has arrived in Omani port Salalah on Oct 3.
The crew consists of 23 sailors - 1 Russian, 3 Romanians, and 19 Filipinos, reported press service of EU NAVFOR fighting piracy in the Gulf of Aden and Indian Ocean.
According to online Maritime Bulletin, there are no Russian citizens held hostages by Somali pirates any more. However, 6 Ukrainian crewmen of Algerian-flagged MV Blida are still captives, reports RIA Novosti.
