Boats with illegal migrants sank near Algeria

Boats with illegal migrants sank near Algeria west coast; at least three men died, ten are missed, reported Monday France Press referring to Coast Guard.

According to Algerian Coast Guard, two boats sailed off Algeria as early as Saturday; they were heading for Europe, though have not succeeded. Bodies were found near the shipwreck site; six migrants managed to survive and gained the shore, said representatives of Algerian Navy.

Other details of the incident have not been specified yet, informed the agency.

Algerian Coast Guard arrested over 70 migrants last month. They were trying to leave the country's northwest illegally.
