Pirates drive 4 ships to Somali coast

29.04.2010 Pirates have driven 4 ships they had captured in the Indian Ocean and in the Aden bay to the Somali coast. Among them are 3 Thai fishing ships that were hijacked 1200 miles from the Somali coast on April 18 and driven to the pirates' base near the port city of Garacad. In total, there are 77 crewmen on board these 3 ships, all Thai citizens. The fourth is a big Liberian motor ship captured in Aden base 190 miles from the Omani port of Salalah on April 21. The EU navy is keeping a close watch on the situation.
