The Yemen-flagged cargo ship with a 9-member crew was seized by Somali pirates in the Gulf of Aden, Reuters reported Tuesday. According to the local coastal guard service, the ship currently is docked at a port in northern Somalia. A global anti-piracy campaign, Atalanta, was launched by the EU in 2008. Nato established its own anti-piracy mission, Ocean Shield, in 2009. Russia is taking part in both.
