The South Korean Navy is searching for two North Korean submarines. They were dispatched to the Sea of Japan two days ago allegedly for naval exercises but the South Korean command fears their mission is anything but peaceful. Tensions between the North and South escalated sharply after the late March sinking of a South Korean corvette in the Yellow Sea. South Korean and foreign experts hold that the ship was sunk by a torpedo fired form a North Korean submarine.
