During festivities associated with Russian Air Force Day an exhibition of Black Sea Fleet air materiel took place at Kacha airdrome near Sevastopol.

Among other showpieces were aircrafts and helicopters An-26, Be-12, Ka-25, Mi-8.

The festivities started with triumphant hoisting of Russian Air Force flag and laying wreaths on busts of Black Sea aviators and heroes of the Soviet Union fixed up in the garrison.

Afterwards, festive events moved directly to the airfield where guests could watch aerial vehicles and get familiar with creative work of leading aeromodellers of Sevastopol. They represented acting models of aircrafts and helicopters of various types and periods and conducted demonstration flights and air fights.
