Russia, Ukraine to talk on Black Sea Fleet in Dec

Russia and Ukraine agreed to hold a subsequent session of the intergovernmental subcommittee in Dec and talk on issues of Russian Black Sea Fleet (BSF) deployment in Crimea, Ukraine.

That was said in the press release of Ukrainian foreign ministry.

On Wed, Aug 25 a Russian-Ukrainian consultation between deputies foreign ministers was held in Kiev.

Negotiating parties affirmed their interest in improvement of contractual basis regulating the matters of the Russian fleet's stay in Crimea, and marked positive dynamics in implementation of the BSF deployment agreement.

Besides, the delegations discussed perspectives of further expansion of Russia's role in socioeconomic development of Sevastopol and other sites where the fleet's units are deployed.
