Russian ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov forecasts signing of 4-5 agreements in addition to contract of Black Sea Fleet (BSF) deployment in Ukraine, reports UNIAN.

Zurabov pointed out that Russian-Ukrainian subcommittee on BSF issues has recently intensified its work. As for now, agreements which are to be signed in the nearest future are being discussed, he said. Zurabov underlined that those agreements would be aimed to "make BSF activities maximum transparent for Ukrainian authorities".

Zurabov added that there would be 4-5 agreements instead of 13 previously planned, but they would answer the key questions related to presence of the Russian fleet in Ukraine.

Reportedly, Ukraine's administration most likely will ratify the new contract which improves conditions of BSF stay in Sevastopol. In exchange, Ukraine hopes on definitive legal demarcation of Russian border, since that hinders Ukraine's integration into Europe.
