Large ASW ship Vice Admiral Kulakov sailed from Kronshtadt to Baltiysk

Northern Fleet (NF) large ASW ship Vice Admiral Kulakov headed by Capt 1 rank Alexander Mashinetsky sailed from Kronshtadt to Baltiysk after overhaul and upgrade at Severnaya Verf shipyard (St. Petersburg).

Kulakov passed second stage of state trials at Baltic Fleet under general supervision of Capt 1 Ali Khabibulayev, commander of repaired and built ships unit, Leningrad Naval Base. The trials program was executed by staff officers, the ship's crew and trial team from Severnaya Verf.

The ship's missilemen and torpedomen practiced elements of special tasks and carried out a number of combat trainings and firings under auspices of fleet experts.

The certificate of the ship's delivery to Northern Fleet will be signed in the nearest future. After that the crew of Vice Admiral Kulakov will start preparing for a cruise to permanent basing site, Severomorsk Naval Base.
