Russian mariners attended wreath-laying ceremony to the monument of three admirals who headed allied squadrons during the historical battle. The memorable service to all sailors died in the battle was also conducted there.

Afterwards, BSF marine unit, Russian and Greek naval bands took part in the parade along with schoolchildren and public members of Pilos.
