Patrol ship Krasnodarets to start sea trials soon

Next week Project 10410 patrol ship Krasnodarets will take the sea for the first time; the ship was built by Almaz shipyard (St. Petersburg), reported the yard's press-service to the Central Navy Portal.

Laid down in 2009, the ship was launched on Sept 10, 2010. Shipbuilders of Almaz had mastered this project long ago; Krasnodarets is eleventh ship built for Russian frontiersmen.

Being perfectly balanced, combat and performance characteristics of the project developed by Almaz Central Design Bureau are held in respect not only among Russian sailors but foreign orderers as well.

After passing all appropriate trials and commission into Russian FSB Frontier Service, the new ship will move to permanent basing site in the Black Sea.
