Military incident happened on Monday between DPRK and South Korea has no influence on situation at Russian-N Korean border, reported RIA Novosti referring to LCol Natalia Rondaleva, press secretary of Russian FSB Frontier Service, Primorsky Krai.

"The situation at Russian-North Korean border is calm and stable. Russian frontiersmen protect the state border in ordinary mode", said the interviewee.

According to her, there is no serious reason to change protection format at Russian-North Korean border.

Earlier on, an armed incident occurred between North and S Korea near disputable limit line; that was the biggest face-off in the region throughout recent 50 years. As was reported by Seoul, N Korean artillery cannonaded one of the islands, and South Korea had to open return fire. Consequently, two South Korean servicemen were killed, 17 were wounded.
