Baltic Fleet (BF) warships conducted an exercise on search and torpedoing of "enemy" surface ship under auspices of Vice Admiral Viktor Kravchuk, BF Deputy Commander.

Having timely detected and identified the "enemy", frigate Pylky commanded by Capt 2 rank Alexander Yush torpedoed the sea target. Corvette Stereguschiy acted as the enemy ship in the training sea battle; the ship is commanded by Capt 2 rank Mikhail Burkin.

Frigate Pylky effectively hit the sea target by three torpedoes which passed under the ship's keel at assigned depth.

In her turn, corvette Stereguschiy detected and repelled the torpedo attack by special shipborne arms. The drill was the fleet's closing activity in the past training year.
