After medical inspection and psychological tests, draftees had passed general military course in naval schools, training units of marine troops, aviation, and the fleet's coastal force.

According to results of social, demographic, and psychological characteristics of the personnel, over 45% draftees have higher and secondary vocational education. About 20% young sailors have basic vocational education; over 30% of newcomers have high-school diplomas.

More than 70 per cent of draftees have been reared in full families. Almost 4% of young sailors are married, half of them have children.

Somewhat 50 per cent of newcomers had been studying in higher educational institutions before the military service; 48% of respondents have acquired work experience in factories and commercial companies.

Roughly, 90% of young sailors say they are believers.

Results of the study held amid draftees are the basis for further individual work with them. This will contribute to rates and quality of combat training process.
