Warships of BLACKSEAFOR naval cooperation task group arrived in harbor of Russian port Novorossiysk on Apr 22.

Due to the bad weather, only the task force flagship Romanian frigate Marasesti managed to moor at the quay of Novorossiysk seaport. The sailors were met on the pier by Novorossiysk Naval Base Commander Capt 1 rank Arthur Bokoyev, staff officers, and representatives of the city administration.

BLACKSEAFOR leader Commodore Constantin Ciorobea took over Russia's traditional bread and salt from the girls dressed in national costumes. Addressing to Novorossiysk mariners, he said he was frightfully happy to step on that blessed land which imbibed blood of numerous heroes laying down their lives to save Motherland.

Later on, the BLACKSEAFOR commander met with the naval base officers to discuss supplies replenishment and draw the visit program.
