Zvezdochka is ready to take Vietnam's orders

Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center was visited by Vietnamese military delegation headed by Navy Deputy Commander Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Hien.

The parties discussed issues of prospective deliveries of spare parts for after-sale service of Russian/Soviet naval equipment operated by Vietnamese Navy, reported REGNUM referring to the shipyard's press service.

Directors of JSC Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center handed over a draft contract to Vietnamese delegation; the document provides that Russia would perform after-sale service of Vietnamese Navy's equipment. It was drawn on the basis of a certificate issued by Russia's Federal Service for Military Technical Cooperation which gives the right to carry out foreign trade activities with military products.

At present, Zvezdochka works on Vietnam's requests for spare parts, repair documentation, and training of Vietnamese specialists. In the nearest time Vietnamese Navy will prepare requests for deliveries and works discussed during the mentioned visit and address it to the shipyard. Zvezdochka confirmed its readiness to execute those orders.
