Pacific Fleet Ships Returned From Exercise

Large and small ASW ships have returned to permanent basing sites in Vladivostok port and Strelok Bay. Missile boats and small ASW ships were the first to moor in the Maly Uliss Bay.
On Saturday, Oct 1, after mooring and reports on accomplished missions, antisubmariners were congratulated and handed out traditional piglet roasts at 33rd quay of Vladivostok port.
Recall that active phase of maneuvers was held at Kamchatka in Sept 13-18; about 50 warships and auxiliary vessels from Primorsky Krai, Sovetskaya Gavan, and Kamchatsky Krai participated in the exercise. The episodes took place in the Sea of Japan, the Sea of Okhotsk, and the Pacific Ocean. Over 4,000 miles were covered and 30 combat drills were carried out during the maneuvers.
However, combat training goes on, and the crews will have to prove their professional skills again at sea during winter training period.
