State Defense Order 2011 has been 95% contracted, said deputy defense minister Alexander Sukhorukov at the press conference on Oct 11.

"Considering all amendments, we have signed 95% of contracts scheduled for 2011 under defense order", Sukhorukov said.

According to him, most of contraction works have been completed. "We have arranged contract placement with JSC Russian Helicopters, air defense concern Almaz-Antei, Moscow Thermotechnics Institute and so forth", said Sukhorukov.

He said three contracts for ballistic missiles had been signed with Moscow Thermotechnics Institute on Aug 26 – two for ICBM Yars, and one for SLBM Bulava.

In accordance with contract terms, defense ministry made advance and paid for performed works RUR 362 bln (74% of tied contracts), added Sukhorukov.

According to the deputy minister, delivery of defense products is expected till Nov 25, 2011. On the other hand, this deadline can be postponed to first or second quarter of 2012 upon agreement with defense industry, Sukhorukov said.
