A video clip showing another intrusion on board the legendary cruiser Avrora was posted on YouTube. In the night, two divers dressed in black wetsuits and equipped with lights and video cameras swam from Petrograd Embankment, reached the ship's aft, boarded the cruiser, ran unnoticed and attached a thunder flash to the bow gun.

Although the "gunshot" made car alarms sound, director of the museum cruiser Rear Admiral (retired) Lev Chernavin says that "the crew reports no incidents occurred in the night of November 7". Press service of St. Petersburg Police Dept had no information on that either.

According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, the action was arranged by social anarchists of anti-fascist movement hoisted the Jolly Roger flag on Avrora's mast on Oct 16.

Authors of the video dated the incident as Nov 7: "In Petersburg - the city of three revolutions - patriots made unauthorized shot at the party of swindlers and thieves [United Russia Party], explained the protesters. "But someday Avrora may fire not blank!" warned revolutionaries emphasizing they used bow gun knowingly, since it was just the gun giving the signal for the October Socialist Revolution.
