Russian Navy command discussed condition and prospects of cooperation with foreign navies.

In particular, only in Dec 2011 Russian Navy's ships paid 65 formal calls and unofficial visits to ports of 36 countries.

St. Andrew's flag was seen in the US and Germany, Italy and Netherlands, Turkey and Norway, Greece and Spain, Poland and Oman, Djibouti and Sri Lanka, Singapore and China, Seychelles and Malta.

When staying in foreign ports, Russian ships were visited by military delegations and local people; that contributed much to strengthening of mutual understanding between naval authorities and nations in general. Normally, visits of Russian warships hit the headlines of foreign media.

In 2012, Russian Navy will continue international activities in the interests of security and mutual confidence in the World Ocean.
