Petty Officer 2 class Vladimir Krivenko recently fell into line with Northern Fleet (NF) servicemen having large families. Late in Jan 2012, the crewman of large landing ship Alexander Otrakovsky took his wife Alyona and newborn triplets Andrei, Arseny, and Arina from Murmansk regional perinatal center.

Now the young family is in sweet fuss, since Vladimir obtained an order to view a 3-room service apartment in Severomorsk. All he need now is to prepare documents and get ready to settle into the new flat.

Each large family is under a special care of NF command. In total, there are 193 families with three and more children among the fleet's servicemen. Three of NF mariners have 5-kid families.

The latest case of multiple born kids was registered in Olenya Guba, Murmansk region. Having twin boys, Jnr Sgt Yekaterina Orepyeva (NF Coast Defense Troops) delivered twin girls in Nov 2011.

In the military, large families are the first to obtain service apartments and get considerable assistance in social and other issues. As of today, accommodation problems have been completely settled for large families of NF mariners serving in Severodvinsk, Polyarny, Gadzhiyevo, Vidyaevo, and Zaozersk bases.
