BF Frigate Yaroslav Mudry Proved Worthiness in Deployment

Armament, mechanisms, and radioelectronics of Baltic Fleet (BF) frigate Yaroslav Mudry have proved high degree of reliability during long-range cruise within Russian Navy's carrier group.

The ship was deployed at different latitudes and climatic zones, and has proved capability to accomplish tasks of her intended purpose in accordance with design characteristics. Effectiveness of the ship within the task force was proved as well.

The 2-month deployment to the Mediterranean Sea has given wide experience to Yaroslav Mudry's crew. This also regards to organization of watch service at sea, completion of antisubmarine and antiaircraft tasks, and fire drills.

Frigate Yaroslav Mudry returned to BF main base Baltiysk on Feb 14.

As is planned, the frigate will attend in the FRUKUS-2012 joint exercise to be held since June 25 till July 1 in the southeast Baltic with participation of Russian, American, French, and British warships.
