BLACKSEAFOR Final Planning Conference Held in Russia

Naval representatives of Black Sea countries finished planning of BLACKSEAFOR naval task group activation to be held in April. The final planning conference was held in Divnomorskoye (Krasnodar region, Russia).

Heading the international naval task force, Russia is represented by Capt 1 rank Yury Zemsky, Deputy Chief of Black Sea Fleet HQ.

During the conference, the parties agreed upon terms of the joint exercise to be conducted in the Black Sea in Apr 5-24, planned calls at the ports of Constanta, Sevastopol, and Istanbul, and approved the operational plan of the coming activation.

Russia's Black Sea Fleet will be represented by large landing ship Caesar Kunikov.
