Black Sea Fleet Commander's Congratulations on Victory Day

Dear Black Sea Fleet mariners, people of Sevastopol and Crimea, and honorable veterans!
On behalf of Black Sea Fleet Military Council, I congratulate seamen, petty officers and sergeants, warrant officers, commissioned officers, admirals and generals, civilian personnel, veterans of wars and armed forces on 67-th anniversary of the Victory achieved by Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and 68-th anniversary of liberation of Crimea from Nazi aggressors.
May 9 is the key milestone in the world history, the symbol of triumphant humanism and good, the day of remembrance and mourning.
There are no human who can dispassionately pass by the Eternal Flame reminding descendants about heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
Today, our duty to fallen and living veterans is to secure peace making our life safe and stable.
There are some veterans in Sevastopol who defended and liberated our beautiful hero city. Please, accept our thanks and bows for that. We will never forget and always remember all those who fought for the Victory at battlefields of the Great Patriotic War!
Current generation of Black Sea Fleet servicemen is worthily continuing fidelity to military duty. Long cruises, aviation flights, field drills and exercises are what today's Black Sea Fleet does being a reliable guarantor of peace and stability in the region.
Symbolically, in Sevastopol we celebrate the Victory Day shoulder to shoulder with servicemen of Ukrainian Navy. Together we honor the heroism of our fathers and grandfathers who were in same trenches fighting against the common enemy.
I wish you all strong health, happiness, inexhaustible life force, peaceful skies above, further success in service and work for the good of our Motherland.
I congratulate you on the nationwide holiday, the Great Victory Day!
